Yubeng Village is at the foot of Meili Snow Mountain, located about 30 kilometers (19 miles) northeast of Deqin in northwest Yunnan. Yubeng Village at an altitude of over 3,000 meters is divided between the Upper Yubeng Village and the Lower Yubeng Village. From Upper Yubeng, trekkers have access to the Base Camp, and Ice Lake hikes (8 hours round trip). From Lower Yubeng, you could find the paths to the Sacred Waterfall (6 hours).

There is only one road linking the village to the outside world. Therefore, riding a mule or hiking have become the main ways to get to and from Yubeng village. This is why Yubeng Village is such a great destination for trekking enthusiasts. Moreover, there’re various beautiful and traditional homestay and hotel for you to choose.
