Napahai (Napa Lake) means "the lake besides forest", which is located in the northwest of Shangri-la County.

It is a seasonal mountain lake, and also one of the few the thermal alpine swamp and swamp meadow in Yunnan province.

Napahai  is the largest grassland in the county. Due to the humid climate of the reserve, grass grows faster than the similar areas,

and every year in May, the meadow sprouts, while the Napa grassland

is already lush green grass.

At the beginning of June, all kinds of wild flowers are blooming. 

Snowy mountains, grasslands, cattle and sheep make up the Saibei scenery

in southwest China.
