Pu’er Airport Opens New Air Routes

Recently, an executive jetnamed “Feihong 300”, carrying six experience passengers, took off from Xishuangbanna Airport and landed in Lancang Airport in Pu’er City after 20 minutes’ voyage. This first airplane service within the province chartered by Yunnan Qicai General Aviation Co., Ltd means that Pu’er will open a new air route to facilitate tourists to travel in the future.

Not long ago, Pu’er Airport had launched a direct route from Pu’er to Dali. On March 25th, the first group of direct flight passengers took off from Dali by China SouthernAirlines Flight CZ8059 at 11:25 a.m and landed in Pu’er at 13:00 p.m, and Pu’er’s passengers took China Southern Airlines Flight CZ8060 at 13:40 p.m to Dali at 14:45 p.m as well. It only takes more than one hour for tourists to see the beautiful scenery of the two places. The Pu’er-Dali direct flight has shortened the distance between the two places, making travel easier.

On February 26th, the DHC-6 Twin Otter of Reignwood Asia Aviation Co., Ltd, which was chartered by Pu’er Air Group Co., Ltd, successfully carried out the short-distance transport demonstration flight from Lancang to Simao. The small aircraft will enable more tourists to travel between the “green delta” area and Simao. With the current flights from Pu’er to Changsha and Chongqing, there are many direct routes to Pu’re both inside and outside the province, which provides more transport choices for tourists to travel to Pu’er.
