The Miao ethnic members live in most parts of Yunnan, and they call themselves Meng and Amao. 

The Miao ethnic minority have up to 130 kinds of traditional costumes which can rival with any kind of ethnic costume in the world. Generally speaking, Miao ethnic ladies are good at traditional techniques, such as weaving, embroidering, and batiking etc. The quaint, colourful pleated skirts and Lusheng dance of the Miaos usually impress people very much.
