Taking place in November, it is the highlight of the “Spring Festival” of the Hani ethnic group living in Honghe, Pu’er and Xishuangbanna in the south part of Yunnan Province. As a tradition, each family prepares a table of delicious food in the village and people invite each other to share (not only the food but also the friendship). Nowadays, the best places to experience the banquet are Honghe County, Lvchun County and Yuanyang County, which are the core area of the UNESCO site the Hani Terraced Fields.
