The grandest celebration of the Jingpo ethnic group living in Dehong Prefecture in the west of Yunnan Province, Munaozongge festival takes place on lunar 15 January each year and lasts for three to five days. Participants dance in the S-shaped routes implying the migrating routes of the ancestors of the Jingpo people.
